Vestegen is a supplier of top quality herbs and spices – the foundation of taste. A family business dating back to 1886, Verstegen needed our help developing a brand strategy and identity that strengthens their brand positioning in today’s highly competitive spices and sauces market.

Consumers have diverse needs when it comes to cooking – from culinary experts to amateur chefs, and from foodies to those who just want everything to be quick and easy. With a little help and inspiration, we believe anyone can cook. This belief led us to come up with the brand tagline ‘Discover the CHEF in you with Verstegen’.
Idea
The idea behind ‘Discover the CHEF in you’ is to help home cooks upgrade their daily meals, taking them to new culinary heights. This slogan became ubiquitous, appearing on supermarket shelves, print and digital ads, websites, and trade fair stands. In our print ads, we focused on ways that Verstegen can help people turn the ordinary into something gourmet. Online, we also shared useful tips and tricks around how to add your own flavour to a dish.

CAMPAIGN & DIGITAL TOOL
Spices are a low-involvement product, so we created a high-involvement service around it—the outdoor dinner planner. The first online tool that makes it easy to organise a dinner with friends. People could use the tool to invite their friends, arrange who brings what, decide who cooks what, and add a location. All in just a few clicks.
